Sunday with Daddy

Yesterday (sunday) we went to church with Victor. The night before I wanted to make Victor and his friends some cookies (because they all think they are starving to death) So the boys and i wipped up some pretty delicious chocolate chip and walnut cookies. On the way to church i stopped at a gas station and bought a quart of milk and some plastic cups. When i arrived, I stepped out of the car with the plate of cookies in one hand and the milk in the other. I swear it was like bees to hunny. They cleaned the plate. One of Victors battle buddies, his name is Barnes, said all dramatically and a mouth full of cookies and eyes shut "Armenta, your wife is so sweet and so awesome." It was pretty funny to watch these grown men just melt over a few cookies.

After Sacrament meeting the bishop asked if he could talk to Victor while the boys and i went outside. The Bishop asked Victor to be his councelor. Every week he would need Victors help and he would need him to sit on the stand with him. Well he told Victor to talk it over with me. I was so excited for him. But after a few minutes it came to me.... that starting next sunday we wont be attending the "on base" ward. We will be going to our ward with Victor. So Victor told the Bishop what an honor it was for him to think of him but we wouldn't be there any more. It was pretty neat.

The rest of the time we just sat out side & watched the boys play on the grass. And like always it was so hard and so sad to have to say good bye for another whole week. Damon was upset, Skyler cried and the whole way home the both kept saying they wanted their daddy. Which of course brings on my tears. But hopefully starting next saturday he will phase and we will be able to visit him at night during the week and bring him home on saturday and sunday. We are all looking forward to that.

So that was our Sunday. Sorry there aren't any pictures. I left my camera in the car.

We love you all and miss you so much!!!!
