Boys got new Beds

The boys have been sharing a twin size bed ever since we have been back home from Georgia. Its been working fine up until about a week ago, when skyler was falling out of bed every night. They were getting big enough that they were in each others way and fighting over where their feet were going to go. Every night we would go through the fight of "damons feet are touching me" So i finally said we need to get a toddler bed to fit in their tiny room. He was so excited to get it. And damon asked me the first night we had it " am i sleeping all by my self tonight?" with a huge smile on his face. The only down size to having both beds in there was none of their toys fit in their room. So i decided we needed to get damon one as well and store the big boy bed in the garage till they can have their own rooms. They are both so excited to have their new beds. After putting damons bed up today, he came and grabbed me and said "mom do you want to see what i did in my room?" I walked in their room and he had put both beds together. I asked him why he moved them together? And he said "If skyler is ever sad or scared i can reach him and touch him on the back." It was the sweetest thing i have ever heard him say!!! Who knew that new beds would help them be sweeter to each other! (One point for mom)
