Cheezy Boys!!

Not much happened today. But because of my lack of blogging due to my trip to SLC, I knew I owed it to my "Viewers" to blog something today. So i bought these new shirts for the boys yesterday and I thought they looked so dang cute so I snapped it for y'all. LOVE YOU!!!!!!

~Sunday~

For the longest time damon and sky have been wanting their very own big boy skate boards. So on saturday we took them to target and let them pick them out. On Sunday we took them for a little test drive. They absolutely love them!

Rainforest Cafe

Victor missed the boys and I while we were in Salt Lake so much that he wanted to have an extra fun day on Saturday. So we went down town to the river walk. We ate at the Rainforest Cafe. The boys had a blast. Then we did a little shopping. It was such a fun day!

Damon and Skyler got this Puzzle for Valentines Day from Gma &Gpa Haws. All day they wanted to do it, so I told them to wait until daddy got home. My favorite part of this whole video is how damon is rambling on in the back ground about the ocean, and just trying to be so big by helping daddy find the right pieces. Then Skyler tries to help through the whole thing.

They had a lot of fun doing it. Then about fifteen minutes later the boys got distracted and it was me and victor on the floor putting it together.

In all the pictures above this one, Skyler is trying to show affection to damon, Damon thinks it is gross whenever Skyler tries to kiss him or show any kind of love towards him. I thought it was funny so i helped skyler pin damon down. Skyler finally kissed his head, and Damon said "mom that is so gross" it was pretty dang funny!

The other day I came into the living room and there damon was... sitting in the toy box, with his pillow in the bottom for extra comfort, watching Land Befor Time. All Comfy! I asked him what he was doing and he said Nothing. He is so dang cute. The older he gets the more fun and mature he is. He has the cutest little personality and he is so freaking smart. He knows everything about Dinosaurs and bugs, you name it he knows it! He blows me away sometimes. I love my Damon so much, he is my little buddy!

February 9-10/The weekend

Notice, the ring on her finger. Toby proposed to Camille when they were over at our house on saturday night. We celebrated with them. We are so happy for the two of them.



On Saturday, Toby and Camille came over and watched the boys for us while we went on a little date. It was so nice to get out of the house with just Victor. We drove downtown and had dinner at this beautiful little place right on the river walk. We were able to eat outside by the river. It was so beautiful. The food was fantastic, the weather was awesome, it was just perfect. Victor had to share this picture with everyone. He order rack of veal. He thought it was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen! We had a great time.

Yeah! Its finally the weekend. We get to have our daddy home.

Who does the laundry? I do, I even do Victors laundry on the weekends when he comes home, he said when he does his laundry it doesn’t come out the same way as when I do it. (does anyone else smell BS)
Who does the dishes? I do, but Damon has become quit the little helper in that department
Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? I sleep alone. But before Victor left he slept on the right side

Who mows the lawn? A couple of Mexicans. It is the one nice thing about living in an apartment.
Who cooks dinner? I cook dinner for Victor and the boys every night. But Victor loves to cook. And the chances that he has to come home he does a really good job.
Who is more stubborn? I Guess it depends on who you ask….. ok ill admit it, I can be more stubborn
Who kissed who first? Victor kissed me first. We went out on a date just as friends, and when he brought me home he kissed me on my front pourch.
Who asked who out? Victor asked me out. But it was just a friend date. We were friends way before we ever went out. We have known each other and have been friends since 8th grade
Who proposed? Victor-we went to macaroni grill and he wrote it all over the table
Who is more sensitive? We are both really sensitive in different areas. But over all I think Victor is
Who has more friends? Victor has more friends. I am a full time mother….. my children are my friends
Who has more siblings? I do, I have four sisters and one brother, victor has two brothers and one sister. But if you start counting all step siblings and half brothers and sisters…… then I have no clue. That is a bit confusing

Just a quick note

I am currently reading the Book of Mormon, i am in alma. I just finished Alma chapter 5, it is so wonderful. I just wanted to encourage everyone to read it. I absolutely loved it. It was so powerful and just over all wonderful.

Dinner with Daddy

Tonight I made steak for dinner. At the store I was trying to decide if I should get the boys their own or have them share. So i decided to get one for them to share because they had never had it before. Oh my gosh, from now on just add steak to my regular shopping list. They loved it and wanted more!


I bought Victor a T-Bone, he said it was the perfect ending to such a long and exhausting day. He was so happy!



We cut the boys steak before hand, but because daddy had a knife both the boys wanted to cut theirs too. So I gave them butter knifes. They felt so big!

VICTOR PASSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday Victor took the National Registry Test. It is the test that is going to certify him to work in the civilian world as and EMT. It was done on a computer. They didn't grade it for him right away. When I picked him up last night he was so upset and so down. He said it was so hard, and he knew the answers to the questions, but the answers to choose from were so complicated. We checked online all day yesterday trying to see if they had posted his score. He kept saying that he probably failed. ( I have never seen him so upset) i told him to have a little faith.
Right now Victor is in class. He doesnt' know that he passed. I can't wait to pick him up tonight and suprise him. He is going to be so excited.

SUPER BOWL FUN

I threw a Super Bowl party that my grandpa would have been proud of. I am pretty sure that I gained ten pounds today! (duh you think)

Skyler has found the love of his life. He loves to always be around her.

Camille was talking to her mom on the phone and laying on Skylers bed. He layed with her the whole time, Kissing her, and loving her. (watch out Toby, i think you have some competition on your hands)
We had a very fun day. We had some Giant fans and some Patriot fans. And the Giants finally pulled through. It was a very exciting, and very close game!!! In the end the only happy ones were Victor, John and Toby. Camille was going for the patriots. I really didn't care. But if I had to choose I would have gone with the Giants.

Army Boots

Skyler is so obsessed with his daddy's army boots. In fact he is obsessed with anything of his daddy's that has to do with the army. He is always having to wear Victors army hat whenever he is around. Today he saw victors boots just laying around so he thought he would try them on. They were so big he couldn't even stand by himself, but he felt pretty big. Damon and Skyler both think that the army is pretty cool. Damon told us that he is going to be an army guy when he grows up.

I love my Mom

I stumbled across this picture today. It is my favorite picture of me and my mom. I just wanted to tell my mom how much I love and appreciate all that she has done for me. She has sacrificed alot, for just me alone. She is the best mom and best friend any girl could ever ask for. I love you mom!
